I am trying to take off the dash board of my 94 Dyna fire truck to put a new outlet into the electrical system. Anyone know what this dial is? Looking at a Dyna manual it could be a rheostat? What ever it is, how would I go about safely disconnecting it?

I have 1994 dyna fire truck with a 14b engine that I’ve owned for over a year now. Finally getting down to building it out into my dream camper. Total beginner though and I’m looking for all the help I can get. Anyone know the best forums to post my questions to?

For the passenger front seat, I intend to figure out if I can adapt some swivel or cobble up an easy "turn it around" fix on my '60 to enhance camping build. Anyone have experience with this? If not, I'll keep pics and a journal on the project and post latter.
