Sorry for the tedious question, My wifes only concern is 8 seats. which years did it drop down to 7.

Don'tknow when it stopped, maybe '95??? I do know that '93 had 8 seat(belts).

The 100 series has seating for 8... but I know I wouldn't want to be in the middle of that 3rd row seat for any length of time let alone at all.

It beats walking....:D

This is very true and I am lazy so I probably would rather ride on the roof rack than walk.

B posted the best thread to read...

synopsis...8 seats until 95, however the mounting to add the 8th seatbelt to a newer cruiser is still there.

Good luck in the search.

Second row middle seat belt is identical to the third row middle seat belt - the part numbers are different for some reason.

John,

Are the mounting points still available ?

The third row middle seatbelt mounts to the same bolt in the seat as the two outboard seatbelt buckles - the same way for all the 80 series. Since you have LX450, you can order the second row lapbelts (in Oak color) and it is a PERFECT FIT. No additional parts needed.

I had to Chip in a little $$ to help feed the dogs :flipoff2: and ordered the belts last week.
Can't wait to get em :bounce:

Also had to order the center diff lock switch while I had Dan on the phone :D

I just did this today for my LX450 third row. About a 5 minute job. Just unscrew the plastic cover underneath the seat (3 screws and don't need to mess taking the seat apart), threat the new belt through from the top on each side and attach to the bolt holding the existing seatbelts from each side, torque to 44 N-m and you are done!

Ordered the lap belt for the 2nd row seat from cruiserdan. About $50 and 1 day delivery! Thanks Dan! This was my first order and it was great. Lexus dealer wanted $80 and 1 week to get the part!
