What diameter lights would fit the best on ARB's bull bar?

My bumper is on the way, so I have not been able to look at it in person to see the room available in the middle of the bumper, under the hoop.

Also, after IPF... what brands are well-repected and which offer a good "bang for the buck"?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Tractor lights are probably the best "bang for the buck" but I would not put them into my new ARB bumper either. :D I would call ARB and ask them what lights will fit. They really are a nice company to deal with when you have questions about their products. I have called a few times and always got a quick answer with no attittude about dealing with an end user.

That was a great suggestion... I just called and within 30 seconds the verdict is in... no problem with going up to 8.5" tall with an 8" diameter.

post up some pics when you get everything together, I just picked up an ARB also and have been wondering the same thing.

Installed a set of Hella 500s today........

When it comes to lights, it all depends on your intended use of the vehicle is (during nightime hours)

For me, its normall long distance driving on open empty country, but with a need to see animals comeing in from either side, so my currentr preffered setup is a set of Hella Rallye 4000's with one long range and one spread beam. I dont have the HID Xenon ones, as theyre just a bit to expensive, and I'm not convinced on their longevity (new technology and all that..)

On a recent vehicle (a lovely old 75 troopy with 300k kms in mint condition) the boss had "roo lights" installed. I cringed a bit when I saw them on the vehicle, but they are a pretty awesome light to drive behind at night, and I'm led to beleive they are relatively cheap (but I'm far to lasy to check!!)

Is that what the new ARB bar looks like:confused: Man! that looks Jeepie

Yes, air... Warn Dual Force.......

Won't fit?? true, its set up for a 8274 as you well know... it took some fab work to get'er done.... back later with some pics....;)

Just started off with the basic 8000 series mounting plate for a( j**p)... since the plate was too wide and the winch spool is off set, one end of the plate had to be chopped off and centered in the frame rails and mounting holes re-drilled, which also called for notching out a small section of the frame rail to gain clearance.... plus the bumper has to have a chunk cut out also... this is as far as it got on Friday... gonna pick back up next week for the tie down and mounting a 2" receiver for a removable hunting chair ...(some black magic will be needed from here on out)
