I purchased new rubber pads for the windshield to sit on when folded down against the hood. Problem being I put the windshield down and the wiper hits the hood. I threw away the old ones so I cannot compare the height. If one of you could measure both heights (short and tall portions) I would...

65" axle
4 1/2" backspace
8 1/2" rims
37" BF Goodrich Krawlers
I would like to avoid cutting the rear body and would like to keep my stock fenders.
If you have this set up or similar have you had clearance issues? Front and/or rear?
Thanks in advance.
I am installing new axle housings and considering 4 link on the rear only. I have stock wheelbase and do not want to alter the body so I will not be lengthening the rear end. For anyone that has 4 link rear only, I am curious if you are glad you did it, performance comparison to springs...
Indeed. Picking it up tomorrow from Georg at Valley Hybrids. Just curious if anyone had any insight as to whether or not a break at this particular location indicated any particular issue. So far guess not.
ARB was locked. Tire was bound up. Just didn't seem like I had enough power on to twist it but that seems most likely. Do have a new engine with 470 HP and 420 pounds of torque. Might need to adjust my skinny pedal habits. Haven't pulled the other side yet. Doing that tomorrow.
Pulled out broken driver side rear axle. Broke pretty near the C clip. Just curious if anyone knows what this might indicate as an issue if any.
I was bound up on a rock and heard it pop. Not under tremendous pressure.
I have an old 302 connected to a C4 and Orion that needs replaced. I have a Turbo City EFI so plumbed to and from both tanks. I would like to replace this engine with a new crate engine with current EFI technology. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
I put it on all windows and the back windows are still fogging up but not as bad as before and the front and door windows have been staying basically fog free. Not 100% but much better.
I have been fighting fogging windows and have tried Rain X and all the other over the counter solutions with very little effect. I found a solution that has been working very well. It is a film similar to tint but designed to keep fog off windows. Initially it was designed for freezer doors in...
Thanks. Got it figured out. The broken off wire should have been a second wire to the passenger side of the resister. Goerg at Valley Hiybrids helped me out. Thanks Georg!
I have determined it needs to go to the power source / switch. If I connect the loose wire to the battery the blower starts. The switch or key of course have no affect so I need to find where the wire from the switch runs / terminates near the blower.
There are two wires connected to the blower under the hood. One is white and one is blue. The white one is connected to the box under the blower. The blue one came off something as it worked last year but I cannot figure out what. Can any of you tell me what it should hook to? It is about 8"...
