I might have to get a fog light switch from you too at some point soon. Want to get a set of good fog LEDs and the knuckle brackets from Cruiser Cult. Be nice to have ALL FJ62 style switches in my dash, especially now that I have the one you made for my auxiliary receptacles in the cargo area.
I'd never even considered the possibility of a steering rack conversion for a 6x series or any other non-rack Toyota. Honestly I'm happy with how the steering is now when it's in good condition and dialed in, but if it were feasible with moderate or less modification to make it work, and not...
Redline is what I had been using in my PS system since I had been putting it in my A440F in 2018. It helped me gain enough life from my auto to make it last until I could get it to @torfab for the H55F swap. It's definitely good stuff. Since I had bought a bulk package I was able to do yearly...
Much less drivetrain vibration that I attribute to using their Severe Gear oil in my H55F, tcase and diffs. At first I had wondered if it was just a placebo effect, but before I had even mentioned anything to my girlfriend when we took our next trip in my 62, she asked if I had done anything on...
All my fluids (save for coolant which will be changed over when I overhaul my system) are AMSOIL now and even though the initial cost was pricey, I couldn't be happier. I couldn't believe such a significant improvement could be immediately noticed with changing out lubricants, especially after...
Amplitude and Frequency Modulation.
It refers to how broadcasters encode the signals before transmitting them.
I also rarely listen to FM stations because they have more commercials than potato chip bags have air, and even less often to AM.
And you do realize I don't use push notifications...
Not likely. With FM signals you need an antenna that isn't surrounded by sheet metal (our fenders) that creates an essential faraday cage. FM frequencies fall within the VHF spectrum and you want an antenna that reaches as high above the vehicle as possible, within reason. With the antenna...
Those actual LED assemblies, or new OEM lenses with LEDs in lieu of incandescent bulbs? I love the idea of a lower profile side marker. My only complaint about my LED side markers is that they protrude farther than OEM lights, but they do look damn good.
Are these LED conversations similar to the Odd Iron ones? Been seeing talk of those with good things said. I think the ones I have are from Roger Brown back in the day. I like them but I think the more modern stuff would be an upgrade. Have you measured lumen output of your LEDs?
It wouldn't be too difficult, aside from the Japanese writing. Without an actual TrueType font of it I'd have to draw them out manually with the mouse and that gets very time consuming.
