2008-2018 Radiator Failure and Public Service Announcement

Thanks for the info...I thought the old design was 08-11. I'm right at 100k so I'll look into getting the water pump, thermostat, pulleys and belts. Just disappointed to have to drop a chuck of change right off the bat like this and that the Toyota service tech didn't notice this when doing...

    SOLD  Ohio: 2013-2016 Land Cruiser

In the market for a 2013-2017 Land Cruiser with between 75k-120k or so. Black or Silver exterior preferred. Dealer maintained / service records + clean carfax + Southern car preferred (no rust or extremely minimal rust). Must be willing to have a local Toyota service center do an inspection.

Just my opinion: There are 2013's w/ 100k in very nice shape for low-mid 30's ($32k - 35k). I prefer the 2013+ with updated lights and screen. For a 2010 w/ 80k from a private seller, depending on condition, would be around $30k.

For Sale  100 series: Brand New in box Rack & Pinion assembly from Detroit Axle (NE Ohio)

Bought this right before covid hit with the plan of putting it on my 100 series land cruiser but plans have changed 6mo later. I did some digging and a few threads on this forum recommended Detroit Axel as a solid manufacturer which is why I bought it. It's brand new in the box - the box has...

    Misfire 1-3-5-7

Any update? I have the exact same problem, but on the other side of the bank, 2-4-6-8 all putting out codes along with flashing chk engine light and VSC off. Toyota dealer tech is saying no way it's 1 bad coil causing it. They want to run a test to see if there are any bent rods from a faulty...

Dealership cant program keys due to weak door actuator???

I have a 2000 LC with weak actuators and I was able to successfully program a new key fob just now by manually locking/unlocking the drivers door only (rather than pressing the master button that controls all the locks per the instructions). I must have tried 30x using the power door...

    Krown Rust Preventative Applied

I went to Krown's Salem OH location and I think they did a great job. Going into the appointment I thought I had read someone say that the entire process takes 45 mins but this place worked on it for 2.5 hours and it looks very thorough. The engine compartment work is impressive - they really...

I went with the Walker 55329 quiet flow muffler as well. I shopped around and it looks like Summit had the lowest price but I ended up ordering it from Amazon for $119 ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VKZO1O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) I had a $50 credit on my account...

Troubleshooting: Can someone look at my battery test results?

Hello. I am trying to troubleshoot an issue I'm having with my 2000 LC and I was wondering if someone could be kind enough to give me some advice. Quick breakdown of the issue - Last week I replaced my broken antenna mast but when doing so I killed my battery from all the ups and downs of...

    Front seat iggee seat covers

I was just wondering if I could get an update regarding these Iggee seat covers...how are they holding up now after almost a year? Any wear or failed stitching? Does the heat from the heated seats pass through the material? Any other thoughts? I think they look really nice and I'm thinking...

HIR1 High Beam Bulbs - Which Are the Brightest?

Yes, my mistake. I purchased the H1R2 9012's from Amazon, not the 9011's. Link here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00480N18G/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Some reviews say the bulbs only last 2 or 3 months or have an overall short life span. I picked up 3 to keep a spare + kept...
