    Nail Gun Question

I just recenty bought a Hitachi NR83A2 on Ebay that appears to work great (shoots nails in board-what it's supposed to do). However it did not come with any instructions. I was hoping for some advice on folks that have used these things before (I haven't). Do I need to use a specific brand of...

    Rear Axle Race Removal

I'm trying to remove the rear axle races on my 65 FJ-40. I've tried beating them off with a cold chisel, but it doesn't budge. Any other ideas?

    Looking for brake line supplier

I want to put all new brake lines on my '65 FJ-40 and I am looking for a good supplier. I would like to find a supplier that sells the fittings, buy the correct flaring and bending tools, and purchase brake line in bulk. Anybody know of a source out there? Thanks.

    Axle seal question

I recently purchased new axle seals (the brass bushings that are press fit into the axle housing) for the axle rebuild on my '65 FJ-40. I immediately installed them into the axle housings without trying them out over the axles. What I found out was that the seals were too narrow to fit the...

    V-8 Ideas

I'm in the process of a frame up rebuild on my '65 FJ-40. The truck has a Chevy 307 V-8. Based on the engine number it looks like the motor is actually a 283 that has been stroked. From what I have read, this appears to be an ideal motor for a cruiser since the 307 was created for higher low-end...
