My 1985 4Runner. 1UZ swap. Advance Adapters RF1A case to R150f adapter. The transfer case shift rail hits the tailshaft housing - see photos. Has anyone run into this issue? Can I just notch that section out to clear the transfer case shift rail?
Anyone in the Portland/Vancouver area who can do a cut and turn for a SOA for a 40? I was going to ship the housing to Cruiser Outfitters, but wanted to check local before going through the hassle of shipping the housing.

I have a 2F cylinder head, casting 61010 from an early vintage 2F (mid 1975 according to serial number on block) for sale. I do not know history of engine, other than it was locked up when I bought it. Seller advised it was from an Australian FJ40 (I do know he is an Aussie).

3F-E short block from a 1991 FJ80. Turns over fine by hand. I do not know anything about the history of the engine. I do not know how many miles. I am using the head and manifolds for a 2F-E project. The cylinder head looks very clean, no sludge buildup.

So this is not a question of tech how to, I have searched plenty of threads for that info. I want to hear from people who have swapped a 3RZ into their rig, especially if you have done one in a Gen1 4Runner.
