Yeah, fuel gauge stopped working. Replaced the fuel sending unit, didn't work and then read it could be the plug by the frame. Sure enough the wires have been worn down from my slider mount.
What exactly did you do? My 80 has the 1FZE but the oil gauge will read when it's cold, once it warms up the needle just drops. Still has perfect oil pressure using a manual gauge and I replaced the oil sending unit, still does the same thing.
I have a pair of used FJ40 front fenders off my old 76 Land Cruiser. The bottom portion has been cut to clear 2x4 box sliders and the driver side inner apron has also been cut to fit a scout power steering box. They have some surface rust/scratches and a dent on the passenger front lip...
Total Chaos looked into doing a 100 series LT kit and decided it wasn't worth it with the amount of time and effort it would take to convert everything over. Big one dealing with the reinforced torsion bar mount on the frame and coming up with a coilover bucket on the frame.
We looking for someone with a 200 series that is local to Metal Tech located in Newberg, OR to test fit some sliders. If anyone is interested please contact us via email or phone.

We had a KDSS GX470 in the shop for a suspension install and took at look at the KDSS system, it would require us making a new driver side to be compliant. Not really sure when that will happen.
