I searched and didn't find any posts regarding the issue I'm having.
1976 fj all stock except sbc swap.
I disconnected my amp meter and wired the white blue wires together bypassing the meter as I am running a 140 amp alt
the gauge cluster gets power from the harness plug, my fuel gauge works...
I am tying up my 40 build. I would like to wire my brake fluid pressure switches. I am missing plugs on the drivers side fire wall and just have bare wires.
Since i am running a GM 1 wire alternator I don't have the voltage regulator hooked up.

Buttoning up my fj project. My original setup was axle over leaf springs. Now I reverted back to axle over springs.
My original wheel/tire setup is 33x12.5x15
Do you think this will rub?
I might get new wheels, not sure if it’s better to switch to 16”?

new lUK low profile clutch
new oem master and slave
Installed the new clutch and components.
no drive shafts installed.
with motor running the T-case drive output turns at 5 rpm and...
So i decided not to run the large turn signals of the fenders of my 1976 40. I used Toyota original bib lights and modified them to work
with he existing wiring. I put it up on you tube for easier upload. I hope it helps someone some day,

I’m just about to paint the FJ 40 and I have the transmission tunnel off and I noticed that my transmission and transfer case linkages do not match the holes on my cover.

Looking for a hood within a reasonable distance from Washington DC mero area. Mine is just beat on the front and I don't
want to mess with repairing the front lip and corners.
So today I tore out the front axle so that I could lower my truck back to stock height by putting the axle on top of the leaf springs.
Funny, I have never noticed that my axle tube has been cut and welded to the axle knuckle end.
Looks shortsighted. Any thoughts?
