Help I’d Tran’s and transfer case (1 Viewer)

I’m just about to paint the FJ 40 and I have the transmission tunnel off and I noticed that my transmission and transfer case linkages do not match the holes on my cover.

Any help would be appreciated

looks like a regular 76 H42 and transfer case, just has modified shifters and everything moved forwards for a SBC.

Update. it seems to be a 3 speed swap.
Sort of odd, moves left and right with neutral in the center.
does not move forward to H2.

what is really odd is that with either high or low engaged to front drive shaft spins freely
but the rear engages. wondering if i am missing something?

Look at your glove box door for instructions on how to shift your transfer case.

I got that, it does not move forward under any circumstances. Only 3 positions, left to right. The PO had a shift knob with 3 positions listed. I am wondering if the PO had swapped in a 3 speed for crawling?
