Hey man,
I may have the harnesses I can send your way for what I paid. I had an '06 planned for the convert and Jerry may be able to confirm they're good for you too.
I'll PM ya.
When I did the fan swap, it was similar pinning like a PC motherboard -- just a plastic female end on the fan wires to slide onto pins/plastic seat. Hope your experience is the same!
Hello Mudders,
Was on the epic journey to removing the 100-Series HVAC/Nav combo with a more traditional HVAC and audio setup. @jerryb was a pioneer for this here, helping many 100-series owners figure out what was needed. I had nearly completed sourcing parts (from US Toyota dealerships and...
I'll take a picture of what the camera captures with the bumper installed. I think that regardless of the bumper you select, the view of the factory camera will be marginalized.
I think some opinions are that part-out oem bumpers come cheap if you botch the cut job. I won't take credit, but I just picked up a 2011 LX with Ironman bumper installed. I can take any pics that you'd like -- prior owner did a pretty good job and I may get under there to adjust (and possibly...
@suprarx7nut -- count me in for a 2011 LX as well. I had your key on my 2006 LC and loved it. This was one of the first "mods" I was seeking out for my new truck.
TL;DR / BLUF: Fans to replace the active cooling present in P/N 86280-0W780 are: Y.S. Tech YW04510012LM, which is a 45MM x 10MM 12V 0.14A fan (set of two) with standard three-wire config. I'll put a more in-depth DIY and pics if anyone wants. Total fix: ~$40 and maybe 1hr of time. One banana...
I'll send you a text on the mats -- just sprayed them down yesterday
As far as the tundra fuel filter, misspoke....its the Sequoia fuel pump. 2005-2007 fuel pump denso #950-0210 instead of 23220-50160 is the thread; I had a scare where my engine randomly stalled out from a start (at elevation)...
That'd be me -- happy to answer any questions or post any carnage picks of the long-gone land cruiser.
Just because I've been asked by a few people (on Craigslist and here) --
I do not have the totalled truck and only have these other items:
1) brand new OEM Lower Control Arms and trailing...
All, not really much of a poster here, but was relatively new to the 100-series club...and I-395 took it away from me. 2006 LC was merged into and the center of a 4-car collision the other week. It was just marked as total loss and will be looking for a replacement soon (200-series, likely). In...
I believe this was one of those dealer-installed options -- understand it's not OEM, but I wouldn't jump at "cheap Chinese knock off." I also have this same config on my new-to-me 2006 LC.
When I was re-wiring my speakers, I saw the turn indicator wiring. I don't recall if there was an in-line...
Hey, thanks for the response! Would you mind PM'ing info on the cam you went with? Certainly an option; did you just replace where the factory unit was (if you had one previously)?
@LX470MK - Apologies, but can you expand on the factory backup cam splicing needed? I'd also like to retain the factory cam if possible.
Did you retain your factory amplifier setup and would that impact why/how you spliced? I'm gutting the entire system (speakers, amp, head unit) and feel that...
