I am installing some Bilstein 7100 on my RJ70 truck, spring solid axle front and rear.
But have no idea on valving issues. I was guessing on 360/80 at front. And 275/78 ar rear.
I currently have a double motor m8274 at front and an m8000 rear.
Has anyone had experience on those shocks?
Yes, that is the gear that I need, I'm from ecuador, and here it is difficult to find parts, I broke my 4spd t case (3rd time), and the only case I got is the 3spd, so I'm forced to use it. Where can I find it, and order online, so I can have my tlc running again...
I've got a '79 fj40, I am planning to put a 3spd t-case on the 4spd tranny. But I need a pinion, I dont know where to get it. It has to have the inner part of the 4spd trannys axle and the outer part of the 3spd t-case. I know it exist, however I dont know where to get it.
I just bought a used Warn 8274 on my ´79 FJ40, I had a m8000, the problem is that I have no idea of how to do the perfect winch mount. Looked all over, and nothing. Please port pics of your mounts

yes, thge truck is running, but since I bought it, I noticed that the other fj40 from my friends ron a lot better, I tried to explan that, no explanation, good carb adjustments, valves ok, everithing ok. So I tried to work on the timig, and I noticed that something is whrong there.
anybody know how difficult is to get the gear on the correct position, is there a lot that I have to take out before getting to those gears? do I have to remove the engine from the truck?
my 79 dont have the nozzle, however, All the hoses that shoud be the windshield washer ones, go straight to the top of the windshield, and theres a kind of hole.

yes I get it, but, I checked whith a screwdriver in the first sparkplug hole, adn the TDC is the dot, coud be that the gears that go to the camshaft coud be wrong? if so, I will need to open the engina, and fix it, a lot of work! ideas?
damn Now I'm in trouble, yesterday I adjusted valves, and the tdc was the dot, so, Im pretty shure that my engine is not well synchronized, cou that be possible? another explanation?
Hi to all, got a small dumb Q, which of the marks on the flywheel is the tdc and tne 7 degree btdc?? There are two marks, the line, and the dot.

Ok, first, I dont know why the comment about the '79, The only thing I know is that my FJ is the slowest comparing with my friend ones, the weakest too, I've got a good compression ratio, and everything. Thats why, I am shure that is the carb!
Ive been looking everywhere for that, I need pics, 'cause the PO took everything out, and I dont know where to start. But, anyway I need info about the timing and jets.
I've been in serious fuel consuption in my ´40, its a 79, I uninstalled all the emmisions stuff. Its running like 8miles/gal, Checked the carb, and main jets are 125/165, is that a good relation, I live over the 6000ft.
So,´for finishing tunning up my ´40, what are the proper jets for me...
