Is there a good OEM replacement for the cotter pin clamp (8712428030), I just realized I ordered a bunch of these (working off a parts list) for my heater hose update an they look like a PIA and apparently need an SST.
thanks,
Scott
I am rehabbing some of my radiator hoses and when I pulled the hose off the thermostat housing there was a bunch of "sealant" and after sealant removal exposed the pock marked surface you can see in the foto. I am not really a fan of sealant here (it was working albeit weeping a bit during the...

Well most of my factory roof rack nutserts are relatively healthy except one.
The area around the nut is a bit swollen and the nutsert is spinning.
Anyone have any suggestions how to keep the nutsert from spinning? I have never dealt with these before. Can I tighten it up with a tool somehow...

I would like to remove my roof rack and go back to the factory roof rails on my LX450!
Anyone in Central Texas (Austin) have a lead on a nice set?
There must be a boneyard full of these somewhere.

Yep, this is pretty frustrating. I tried for a half hour with some rigged wire, grounding on the nut next to the diagnostic module without success. Then I soldered myself up a little harness to ensure I had good connection and grounded at the battery terminal. Then it took me about another 15...
Hi folks,
Do the pictures look like a power steering leak? (I really dont notice a lot of fluid loss and seems to work fine)
If so, would this mean pump replacement? If so, any recommendations where to have it rebuilt?
thanks,
Scott
