Ram X Grip by RotorHead04 posted Feb 25, 2018 at 3:26 PM
The Ram X grip mount is great. I use one when I fly and love it. It really doesn't vibrate much, and that's being stuck to the windshield of a helicopter (perhaps the most vibration prone machine ever built).
I believe my power steering pump is nearing the end of its life. The past few days I noticed when I crank the LC up the pump immediately starts growling from under the hood. Its noticeably loud at first, gets slightly quieter as it warms up but never fully goes silent.
The reservoir is...
Can someone please direct me where to find the P/N for the lights in the dash, and center console? I have a few that are burned out and its bugged me enough that Im ready to replace them. I have the FMS download that been floating around MUD I believe its for an 04 model truck, whereas my...
Ha! I read your post on my phone and never noticed the slight location difference. I highly doubt the local auto parts stores will price match for me...
I went through this last year. My 2000 was rear ended (at the time with 200k on it) and insurance ended up totaling it, but I bought it back. The route I took to getting them to up their pay out was reviewing all the routine / preventative maintenance I had just preformed. Oil change, spark...
Figured I should chime in seeing as how this thread is full of all sorts of offensive statements, lol.
First off to all the Big 3 haters, I have a 99 F-350 7.3 power stroke with 365k miles and it runs fine. It used to be my DD until I bought a second LC.
My "new" DD is a 2000 LC with 311k...
Greeting Cruiser heads. Looking for any local MUD members in Flagstaff who might be hitting the trails over the next few days. My wife and I are in town at her parents for Thanksgiving. I know we all love our in-laws but would jump at any chance to get out of the house, especially for some...
HAHAHA!! Im on a vacation road trip in Utah right now. Don't worry though, I stay in the far right lane while I drive like grandma. You know its bad when the big rigs pass you going uphill in Parleys canyon. I do love the 80 mph speed limits, but I hate how much it costs me to drive that fast.
IMO if you have to pull the head off to install a new thread insert, just go with a new head. If you're careful and can drill and install the insert while the head is on the truck then go with the repair.
I'll admit it, I am a fuel nerd. I track the fuel in all my vehicles with the "Road Trip" app. I top off every tank and document the numbers in the app. I have been tracking my Cruiser since I bought it 40k miles ago. I highly recommend the app if your a data nerd that loves tracking fuel...
WORK!?! With weather like this! That's what sick days are for.
I'll look into the Unitas. I have been out there once a few years ago.
Maybe I should have asked who wanted to go exploring this week after they get of work?? There's got to be somebody itching to get out and roam the back country!
Thanks for the heads up on American Fork canyon. Ill search google from Miller Hill trails and see what trouble I can get myself into. Just looking to get up into the mountains for some god views and hopefully some leaves changing. Two things we don't have in Texas, mountains and beautiful...
Hey gang I'm up from the DFW area job hunting and visiting family in the Heber / Park City area for the week. Anyone local have some free time and feel like running a trail or two? I wanted to spend some time enjoying the mountains but not sure what trails to venture out on, and the buddy...
I will look into it. My other LC had the immobilized issue until I replaced the fuse and have not had a problem since. However when it was giving me problems I was never getting power to the starter. That's where I'm stuck. The starter solenoid is being energized, but the starter motor won't power?
My 2001 LC would not start the other day. I have had it in storage due to too many projects going on. Now that Im ready to jump back on it, I can't get it to start. Solenoid clicks very loud under the hood, but the engine won't turn over.
I figured the battery was low or dead so I charged it...
