What makes you determine you need a new 2H?

Well you could rebuild it but as I do some diligence it sounds like the rebuild costs as much or more than just buying a new one and swapping. Not too many people rebuilding them either.

My mechanic. I brought it to Valley Hybrids in Stockton. Btw he has an engine but while he verifies that it’s a good engine I am also trying to source one. Then based on costs I’ll decide my next steps

No worries, Georg's team know what they're on about. I just ask because I've seen plenty of cruisers have engines/transmissions/parts thrown at them by mechanics who have no interest in troubleshooting and/or no knowledge of Cruisers.
