Hello everyone.
I’m a newbie owner. She’s a mess but I love her!
Need some help with 24v electrical mechanic clean up. And a good recommendation for rear frame reconstruction!!
also full muffler exhaust work.

Im in Nanaimo up by Westwood lake.
the 24v system has been 12v adapted.... a lot. It’s a mess lol.
but she runs and drives great!!!

That looks a lot like John’s 42. Couldn’t tell you his last name... just remember he was a wall.
What’s up with your frame? If it is it had a firebird commit suicide under the back end... was repaired by ICBC but who knows how well.

I’m not sure if that’s the previous owner?
Im not a welder but I think I could have done a better job on the rear frame rails where they terminate at the rear bumper and the spring perches. There’s some bad grafting of metal. super sketchy.

No idea on who/what Shylock is. I just know you’ve bled over enough Landcruiser’s and built enough that you know what’s what.

There’s also a huge value to seeing a truck in person

Looks great , Tony. Look forward to seeing you running that bj around town. My Bj42 is 24v. I’m nothing compared to some of the guys here and on this website in terms of mechanical knowledge but can share my stories (mostly from mistakes).
