My new Denso Radiator, with a Twist.......Literally! (1 Viewer)

I'm getting ready to do my timing belt in November so I figured I'd throw in a new radiator while I was at it so I ordered the one on Amazon for $165. I read the horror stories here about shipping damage and was keeping my fingers crossed. The box arrived yesterday and to my delight - the box was in perfect condition!

I pulled her out and she looked FANTASTIC!

Then I saw it.....the whole core was twisted.

I measured flatness on a flat table at 3/4" of an inch at the mounting holes. It rocks like an old antique rocking horse.
What a let down......
I can foresee all kinds of fitment issues and dependability issues over time with this thing.
I'm Bummed.

LMAO wow... return that POS. I've literally never seen that in my life. God only knows what structure is compromised from that.

I did find that the vendor/wharehouse Rock Auto ships from does a decent job of packaging the Denso for shipment. Same price on RA.

Sucks... those two creases might be some evidence. How does the styrofoam look?
