are all shims created equal? will the shims in the nitro solid sleeve kit work to shim pinion depth or are they just for bearing preload? thanks guys

I believe those are different size. If I recall the outer pinion bearing race is larger than the pinion sleeve shims. Also beware the solid pinion kits from nitro need to be machined down to work on the 9” land cruiser diffs. They will NOT acknowledge they are selling the incorrect part either. I have a thread on the subject somewhere on here.
