My weatherstripping is dry and brittle and will need to be replaced.
Regarding the main seal...Which is the correct gasket for an 81 FJ40, and is there a better option?

I havnt installed mine yet but others have had better luck with OEM.

City Racer has some decent rubber too.

Thanks! I do plan on going OEM...I was just curious what the difference is between the two OEM part numbers in my original post.

93168-60307 is not a Toyota part number I am aware of. Looks like CCOT transposed a couple numbers. I think they are the same. I purchased mine from JDM Planet. It was only $166. I'd reach out to them on Ebay and see if they have more.

Edit: I have also purchased a lot of weatherstripping from City Racer/Racer65. All high quality stuff.

Or @beno I used OEM wherever I could and City Racer for quality repro’s. Rog is a great guy to deal with and definately has his finger on the pulse.

That is CCOT's code... they flip flop the first two numbers of the OEM number.

I have @Racer65 's top seal and it has been water tight and fit perfectly.
