Hard top fitting

So I am trying to install the hardtop. And I never had the metal piece that rivets to the fiberglass lid . I got that piece but it does not seem to want to fit . But I really do not know how it is supposed to fit . I am just trying to go off old holes right now

Ok I got it. They had silicone packed in there. I dug all that crap out and slide it in and the holes lined up

Let me go on record and say how much fun it is to put the lid on by yourself
