Here are some pics I snapped on Hells Revenge.
The first one is in the parking lot while we were airing down. The trail entrance is the trail running over the roof lines of the trucks in the foreground.

Here the trucks in front of me start up the trail.

This is the driver's view. Note that the trucks in front of you drop out of sight one by one as they break over the drop off that you have no idea what's on the other side.

This was the first of several hillclimbs. I kept my RPMs around 1800 and crawled right up.

This is looking down Hells Gate. I looked at it and said, "I can do this". I was mostly right.

Cruisers off in the distance. Look hard, those dots on the ridgeline are trucks.

Coming down off a rise. It's freaking steep. Brakes are good to have.

This was on our way out of the trail. Not a bad view.

Going up Hell's gate is the scariest thing I have ever done in my 80. Definitely an E ticket ride. Dropping in was right up there too.
