If your 80 is stock then you will need to decide how and where to mount the antenna. Best performance is a permanent mount, drilled through the center of the roof. Virtually none of us are willing to do that though so everything else is a trade-off. I think Rory is using an L-bracket style that mounts to a fender bolt in the engine bay and comes out through the bonnet.
Several of us use a hatch mount for our ham antennas. These would probably work well as a CB mount though I don't know anyone that is using them with an 11m (CB) antenna.

The Wilson Lil'Will is supposed to be good. I have one, but use it with a loner radio so I have no experience with it directly.
I have a Wilson 1000 mag mount. The magnet will grab and HOLD. It is an exceptionally good antenna for CB. It was about $80.
I have a couple of cheapy mag mounts that fall off with every branch that hits them so they have to be wire-tied to something rigid to be used off-road.

I think I borrowed Mike's 1000 mag mount for my Ham antenna once and Holy Cowis that thing strong!
I agree with the 510/520 by uniden. Fits in the ashtray slot, looks factory and mine has always worked fine. Hell, I never even tuned it. Most of us travel in groups and rear-end each other so distance with a CB is a mute point. My antenna is on my rear tire holder on the bumper and when we were at Tank Trap earlier this summer I was picking up plenty of crap from who knows where.
If you need distance for help and are by yourself...get the ham stuff.
