All,

May's multi-club event is right around the corner (14-16th of May), and I'd like to get the ball rolling on it since STR is taking up a lot of my time. The last couple of times we've had a great turnout, and Upstate Cruisers Lowcountry Chapter will be there also. We will of course invite our brethren from MATLCA (i.e. David) to join us.
I think we had a "full" campsite last trip, and with a few extras, we might want to reserve 2 sites, or rethink how to have a good organized site, possibly leaving the rigs parked out of the site. Blasphemy you say! Those sleeping in the rigs of course could park in a section, those camping would enjoy more space. If the rangers wanted to be real strict, we technically can have 50 people in a site, but only 10 rigs...
With having more kids at the events, it's also safer than everyone coming and going inside the campsite.
One last thing I will make sure we implement, is a co-mingled campsite(s). We will not have an ONSC site, and an Upstate Site, and a MATLCA site. There is no brother/sisterhood in doing this, and if this occurs I will not plan these type of events in the future. There's no reason to invite other clubs, and then close a campsite. I don't think we'd do it on purpose, but it might get overlooked as people arrive. So keep it in the back of your mind.
And as always, since this would be the first trip of the year to Uwharrie for many, buy a season's pass. It's the easiest way to support the trails...

I will cross-post this on the other sites, but check this link for the official up to date information. I'd like to have attendance numbers for each of the clubs by 15APR2010.

Going forward, everyone register on the ONSC site. I'm no longer going to try and keep track by reading all the posts. A lot of people will say they're going, and then back out, but not post it.

I'm not pointing specifically at the Yeti... :)

Not the ones I've been to!

Definitely in on this one - registered through site. :)

Go to OldeNorthStateCruisers.com look for the events and registration tab, pick the event, and plug in your info... You can even click on the calendar to have it schedule an appointment in Outlook! Very Cool Joe!

Just booked for wife, 4 kids (5,5,4,1) and myself. Can't wait for the first Uwharrie ride of the year.

If I would be in town I would be there!

All,

We will be staying at Badin Lake Group Camp B for this trip. The other two sites were taken by the time I booked the campsites. We will probably be full for this trip, so those sleeping in their trucks will be out of the camp area, and in the overflow (grass) areas. Campsite area will be for tents only, so we can keep the area safe. 50 people, 10 trucks per site, as the website rules say...

booked!

Do I need to register if I am just coming over for Saturday?
