1990 3VZE - Fuel Pouring Out of Vacuum Line

I looked over the lines again and realized I had mixed up the fuel return line with the power steering air valve line...whoops. Switched them back and it's idling and running great! I found this cool diagram online and thought I would post it here. Can't get any easier than this.

    1990 4Runner Build/Rescue

Well I'm starting to move on things! Fuel issue was fixed, my dumb ass swapped the fuel return line with the power steering air valve line. Whoops. Truck is running great now. Going to throw some SeaFoam in the tank once I get it driving. Got a new (used) hood for it, and yesterday fixed the...

Thanks gnob. I'll get a fuel pressure gauge and attach it to the cold start injector.

1990 3VZE - Fuel Pouring Out of Vacuum Line

I reinstalled the upper intake plenum (had to remove it to replace the engine harness). No plans on the inside other than just to get all the spiderwebs out and get everything working! Maybe some drawers down the road, but this thing will be more of a wheeler than an overlander.

Looks great! Now time to hack up the bed and throw a solid axle under the front. Just kidding - nice find!!

I don't know about the V8 swaps - they've been done before but tbh if I were you I'd either just do a 3.4L or just find a used 3VZE for like $300-400 and just swap it in. Get it running first, then get it right!

Front Speakers - Doors or Kick Panels

My truck has two speakers in the doors and two in the rear panels powered by a 100 Watt Amp and an Alpine head unit. Out of all the vehicles I've owned, this truck by far has the best sound system in it. Not too crazy on the bass, but nice and clear and hits when it needs to. I've found that...
