Bit of a bump on this thread, mine is /was attached, but ive replaced my heater core with aftermarket, and this thermistor is now separated from the heater core by some foam
Does it have any effect on the A/C
(theats really two questions)
Finished -- all working
I am now "locked and loaded" again
Very satisfying -- as you can see from the rather poor quality photo, when I dismantled the actuator it was full of crud and the shaft was locked solid -- took hours to free...

Just back from a weekend away up the bush.
I gave the new shower system a run and I'm very happy with the final product.
From a cold start, it took the engine 5 minutes to get to a warm temperature but by 10 min's the shower water...

As Sved says, if your clever electrical shop has hooked the Aircon up to one battery to provide 12 volts, (probably the low side battery judging by your voltages), then your batteries are unbalanced and frying each other. I suspect your Air...

Anyone know if its possible to use normal hydraulic hose (like we use on tractors, heavy machinery etc) to replace part of the A/C line?
Does the hose used in A/C have a special inner surface because of the gas, and specific lubricants used?
It might not be a 1 banana job but you sure sound like a monkey carrying on like that! No one's forcing you to reply to his questions and there's plenty of others who are more than happy too help.

Anyway, like you said, I couldn't find any specific information on the manual idle up conversion. Would it be more than just using the hand throttle when I turn on the AC?
