    A/C Pressure Switch question

Early on this year, i retrofitted a full a/c system from a 1991 import HDJ80 to a UK spec 1994 HDJ80. I found the whole wiring loom complete, and the retrofit wasnt particularly hard to do, as i had the dash out anyway to replace a leaking heater core. Unfortunately, i pulled the system from a...

Should this thermistor be plugged in?

Bit of a bump on this thread, mine is /was attached, but ive replaced my heater core with aftermarket, and this thermistor is now separated from the heater core by some foam Does it have any effect on the A/C (theats really two questions)

    Air conditioning lines

Anyone know if its possible to use normal hydraulic hose (like we use on tractors, heavy machinery etc) to replace part of the A/C line? Does the hose used in A/C have a special inner surface because of the gas, and specific lubricants used?

Where is this attach file of which you speak? Sorry I'm a total reject when it comes to technology,I only discovered smilies lately that's why I use them. Editing my post because I have now noticed the BIG ORANGE BYTTON 'attach'. Will post them tomorrow! (MY time, its midnight here now)

    Builds 1994 1hz 80 series ZOMBIE

I'll take some pictures tomorrow, but I have no idea how to post them; I'm sure I'll figure it out. Are there seat and/or seatbelt mounting points in your truck in the rear? I know some only have lap belts (like mine) others full inertia reel. A chap I know in Romania got a full inertia reel...

I'm not going to assist you here, but I am going to see what you do! My centre console is not in great shape and I have a similar idea in mind. So lets see what you come up with physically. I like your 3D design though!:popcorn::poof::poof::popcorn:

    Builds 1994 1hz 80 series ZOMBIE

The rear seats on my JDM 1991 fold forward exactly like that, as do the UK spec 80 series. I'm not sure about others. I took mine out (for tax reasons, try 300 pound road tax per year instead of 1400 pounds with 4 seats; bit like why you didn't change the colour, crazy rules the world over I...

Unusual Find (Maybe) in Diff Oil - Help with ID

A suggestion. Can of oil open on floor beside workbench, and a man drilling (whatever?) beside can. Some bits fall into the oil and thus get poured into the diff by accident. Something that size would settle to the bottom very quickly and not move again. Just an idea, seeing as we are pretty...

    Spare wheel and tire question

Won't fit, won't clear your callipers. Its also madness having an odd sized spare, if you do use it, it puts extra pressure on your whole drive train because its a different diameter and therefore circumference.

    Bit of help (diff lock)

I would think that is electrical, if your in high range it should be impossible to engage the locker. Disconnect the electrical connection at the locker, don't bother to fiddle til you get your trip to Spain over. Not like your going to need it on the motorway!!
