Sorted...flipped the little "z shaped" thing.Started well,idle ok(need to adjust). Test drive later.

OK,reading that i'm quite sure i must have put that "z shaped"clip on the wrong way.i will take it off and check.i checked the old diaphram it has a rub mark on its under belly,suggesting the clip was rubbing on it.i think i may have installed this upside down. What is the correct way?

I have refitted the housing 3 times.....no difference.i'm sure it can't be much. Can you incorrectly install the diaphram(i know there is a top and bottom)

Hello,i have just replace the diaphram in the injector pump,in my b engine(bj40).Now it will not run. The old diaphgram was shot.The new part went in well. i can only get the engine to run if i over fuel it on the injector pump lever.if not it struggles to idle and their is very little throttle...

Hello,i just replaced the diaphgram in the injector pump on my bj40(b engine).Now it wont run right.If i take the arm off the edic motor and hold the lever on the injector pump slight back it seems ok.how do i adjust it to suit.

Hello Dan,yep sticking with the mustard.And yes the primer and photo dose make it look good.Its definately not 100%,but everything has been done by myself.Never welded before starting this project,never used a spray gun either!!Its getting to the stage were i need to start buying replacement...
