    Removed Charcoal Canister: Now Hoses?

No I did not remove any existing fuel lines. Just bypassed the CC. I would really like to do the work your are talking about- just need to find the time. For what it is worth the fuel pump was a piece of cake to get to.

    Removed Charcoal Canister: Now Hoses?

Not saying this is correct but the pics show my bypass of CC. Also, I forgot to note that I began investigating this issue after smelling strong gas smell. Turns out gas smell resulted from gas leak. Obviously gas leak is major safety concern. The fuel was noticeable on top of the tank and was...

    Removed Charcoal Canister: Now Hoses?

I used a bolt and hose clamp to plug the line to the engine. I used a fuel filter to connect to the vent hose and left it in OEM location. Been running this way for almost a year. Still get small fuel smell when tank is full, but it is not longer my wife's daily driver so it doesn't bother me...

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Most important mod yet.....car seat. Mission accomplished - healthy mom and son home safe from hospital! I'm learning quick that sleep is overrated. Guessing future LC mods on hold for a bit, and I am perfectly OK with that.

    Removed Charcoal Canister: Now Hoses?

After reading a bunch of threads and searching for a canister i too bypassed mine. I even tried swapping the one from my 94 (not running) only to find out i have 2 bad cc's. Maybe i get around to fixing them as others have done at later date. Either way i plugged the purge (to engine). I then...

The firebird is for a buddy and needs a block. My only real hesitation is that we just moved for the 2nd time in 6months and our first kid will be here in 5 weeks lol. Thanks for all the feedback. Ih8mud is awesome - it saves me money, cost me much more, and results in me over analyzing every...
