Thanks for all the guidance. After it got warmed up all started to work then it sat for an hour and same thing happened. Seems like something is freeze up. I appreciate the help?

tomorrow I will attempt to take the door panel off. My brain isn't as fast as my fingers.

So the lock tab wont lock by pushing it in or lock with the driver lock button or with the key remote. It will lock now with the key inserted but the lock is stiff and takes some pressure to actually lock. I wonder if there is moisture that maybe froze up the mechanical parts? It is 19...

Update. Got the door to open by pressing hard on the manual lick button inside the door but now it wont lock. Actuator?

Driver door wont open from the inside or outside. The driver door lock button seems to be stuck and wont move. Would this be the door lock actuator failing I've read about or another problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I made the switch from a double cab tacoma to a 100. Biggest things is lack of bed space! More gas! Higher insurance about 30 dollars more a month! Other than that, happy with the purchase.

Some where on one of the Toyota Tacoma forums, there is a thread were a guy did dyno testing for the deck plate mod, CAI and stock box. If I remember correctly deck plate mod actually gained the most HP, then stock box then the CAI actually lost a bit of HP. Not to jump off the LC topic...

Thanks for the help, we have had a lot of rain here in MD, and finally it started leaking. The day I found the leak I went to wash the LC and nothing had seemed to leak again... Just happened out of the blue.
