It's in great condition! Big cult following for the Stumpjumper :)

@majdomo I did purchase the Stumpjumper. and have been riding it. thing was well kept. Switched from grip shifts to XT levers and shifters. Much better! it has been my go to for all my rides lately.

I am 9 weeks post crash, and am still not allowed to ride outside. I did sneak in a 1.5mi outdoor ride onaccountabecause I'm a rebel. Ribs have healed up fine, hip socket also healed up well. However, I still have this nagging sports hernia; and...

That is an absolute STEAL. Don't call yourself a flipper ... you're an "investor".

And the Onza bar ends. And the Suntour Power Thumb friction shifters c. 1983. All the twee goodies. (They are actually pretty damn nice, have to say.) Feel the same way about Rivendell, I know the attitude is "just ride" but his pricing puts it...

I just noticed you’re running Panaracer Smoke & Dart tires. I love your bike even more.

I have found my people, this is great haha. I hate that I love Rivendell. The philosophy, the parts, the frames (the older ones anyway), all of it - and of course Grant Peterson worked at Bridgestone prior to that. They’re the equivalent of...

Thanks! It's a 91 and it's just as fun and squirrely as I remember old-school MTBs being back in the day. The rear is a 7 speed cassette from SRide via Rivendell. This was all I could find that would fit on the stock hub at the time, there may...

Dam Damn, an MB-2? Really nice bike! Is that 7 or 8spd out back? Cassette or freewheel?

Literally down my hill to the Little Library and back again, pulled the toe clips off and rode with flip flops. Am betting taking off the clips will do more to get me back on the bike than anything since the 42T rear cassette (which is bitchin'...

Went to the hardware store in the middle of a project on the 60. Took the Trek ATB. The big old Fab bag on the front can take pretty much anything I want to put in there. I should get a front rack to help support the weight though.

Rode some tracks. Not in Crested Butte, or even in Colorado. But I did lube my chain beforehand

Let me know if you are looking for places to ride in and around los angeles. There is a lot of great riding, a lot of it you can do without seeing any cars. You were near some of it but that route sucks lol. There is a huge network of fire/dirt...

The Bob Jackson build is a bit “niche”, to put it mildly. 650B conversion with 38mm wide slick tires. It’s plush but still corners confidently on rails. I’ll never go back to a high-psi ride. Maybe it’s because I’m over 40 haha. From stem to the...

Been riding but nothing worth posting about. Been doing little 5 mile jaunts with my partner in the evenings and/or riding around the neighborhood to dinner or the grocery store a few days per week. Keeping loose, but nothing that I'd consider...

I'll throw in my 2 cents here. The last set of tires on my '99 LC were KO2s E rated. Great tires for the first 45K or so. But pretty heavy in 285/75/16s. I got a new set of Tundra 18 inch wheels, did a fair amount of research and ended up with...

I found 16x6 steelies for my 100. Tires mounted on the rims are 225/95R16 (32.8 x 8.9). I didn’t wanted to use the tires on my 100 but I had to give a try. I have to admit is the least sexy thing I done to my 100. Way too skinny ! Way to much...

I've been meaning to circle back to this thread. I'm 13,000 miles into mine since installing in May. Zero complaints. Wearing evenly, no increase to noise. Easily 1500 miles off pavement and over 10,000 miles of towing. No hard wheeling...

Ya, as the motors age and it gets hot, they stop working. Replace the motor and it should work.
