WTB: 80 series steering column clamshell

Check out cruiserparts.net. I purchased a new one from them. The only issue I found with it was that it didn't have a hole in it for the cruise control. I drilled a hole in the proper place with a small hole saw and it looks great.

    80 series non-winch ARB

Hey, now I know just how that would look on my truck. Same paint, same tires, everything. Too bad I'm located in Indiana and you don't want to ship.:crybaby:

    Help... Speedometer is broken

It could be one of three things. 1. The sensor that plugs into the transfer case has gone bad. 2. The speedometer in the cluster has gone bad. 3. The wiring between the two have gone bad. I have had both 1 and 2 happen to my 94. First the transfer case sending unit went bad, then the...

    Where is this rollbar from??

I'm still sticking with my original statement about it being muffler pipe (or something similar. The expanded ends look to have been stretched quite a bit. Also the bends have flattend the pipe quite a bit. The horizontal pieces over the front seats look like they simply bolt or screw to the...

    Where is this rollbar from??

That rollbar looks like muffler pipe. Check out the way the ends of the bends are expanded to fit over the vertical pieces.

    Toyot turbo diesel importing

I could be wrong here, but I thought that I had read once that a person in the U.S. could bring a vehicle into the the country from Canada if that person had purchased it from a relative. I have relatives in BC and have contemplated doing that but I lack the money to buy a diesel truck.

1/2, 3/4 tub from Eshan, anyone interested?

I could be interested in some front fenders depending on what the price works out to. Maybe a front bib if those are available. :)

    bridging the gap

Often times an electronic ignition system will allow one to run a larger gap. A larger gap allows a faster flame spread which creates a more efficient fuel burn. I don't know what it will be on your particular setup but you could experiment by opening up the gap 5 thousands at a time and see...

    Wish List from Japan

There are very few 40s or 40 parts available in Japan. Like most other places, they have been out of production for some time now. Hell, I had a difficult time finding some 80 parts. Also, there is nothing cheap to be found in Japan. I lived there for 3 years and still go back to visit once in a...

    80 for a 40. I'd like input.

Used my 40 for a daily driver for a couple years. Parked it when I bought the 80. The 40 was (and still is) in need of some maintenance. Just don't have the time right now to mess with it. I really miss driving the 40 even though the 80 is more comfortable. The 40 is rusty and will need a lot of...
