This is another good fuel stabilizer
UTV is a good option but I have neighbors with fully decked models that are over $50k.. they certainly aren’t the discount option they used to be. A used older model can certainly be had for a lot cheaper...
Love the Nori Green, but not for me. I want to destroy a boring color and keep the fancy ones for the folks who arent trying to yeet their GX over small boulders.
On a GX460 You can remove the compressor and just leave the solenoid plugged in. I removed the whole thing. Got the error. removed the solenoid from the compressor and plugged it in and voila, no error.
I cannot emphasize enough how helpful this thread is to a 2020 GX460 owner who recently removed his compressor. I removed the air suspension 4 years back but left the compressor alone. Then, I got the “check air system” because the height sensor...
A drain and fill is more time, more money, and less effective than a fluid exchange. It's certainly better than nothing, but the best analogy is taking a shower and putting dirty/sweaty clothes back on when you hop out. You'll still be stinky...
IMO.. the need for external cooling is more based on your use case and personal OBD temp monitoring. If one can keep temps down through driving technique that is an option but if not the coolers are there to help.
I was thinking about lockup...
Did my first service at 120k.
Talked with Slee about it and they dont even recommend aux trans coolers.
I dont tow, so it would have just been for big tires.
I'm still happy with my epo one sliders. Note that even though they offer a step similar to the Victory version, they sit higher up that the stock OEM step, so I've found that their functionality as a step is somewhat reduced since you have to...
That's what I'm running - 285/70/17 on a 17x8.5 -10 with a 2'ish Dobinsons IMS. Mine's a pretty conservative cut and you could probably get a bit more out of it if you tried. But hopefully this gives you an idea of what to do. Just do it once and...
Yeah. Did all that a while back. Auxbeam sent me high beam and fog light upgrades. Have the video shot. Need to edit.
LED’s swapped in from halogen bulbs are a HUGE upgrade. Ive been heading up the hill at night a lot this summer and they’re so...
Funny how one will often see 10, 20, 30 year old Landcruisers (not to mention even older Toyota pickups, yes, pickups, pre Taco name), but rarely ever see Land Rovers more than a couple years.🤔
But, yeah, Those Land Rovers are pretty "posh" (as...
I did my first service at nearly 150k. Fluid was dark but not burnt smelling and did not have much metal in it (pretty much zero). I'm almost at 197k and the trans is just fine. I'll be doing a drain and fill soon.
I'd be MUCH more concerned...
The only ground clearance I've gained is just at the outer edges of the sliders because they're angled upward (like wings).
They still bolt to the same parts of the frame, so there's no difference from that point in ground clearance.
It is one of the reasons I went with them. They look stock to most people but still give me some protection. Expedition are probably the only other ones like this. They seem to have a little less ground clearance than tube sliders but I'm not a...
Finally got some (rather poor) photos of the new suspension. To review what I bolted on, refer back to Page: 45, Post #885 in this thread.
So far less rub when turning, but haven't stretched them out on any trails yet to see how compression and...
I purchased mine used 7 years ago with a wee bit over 30k on it.
From what you just posted, again, personally, I think you're golden. If the price and color makes you happy, pull the trigger.
Since it was a trade in, I have no way of knowing. It has been to Lexus every 5k since new but no mention of tranny service. It does have tow package but looked like all of the jumper harnesses were still in the packaging in the glove box.
