The plan is to either run 275/60/20 on the factory 20s or spring for some EvoCourse wheels and run 275/70/18 but I bought these 20s new and dont feel like selling them at a loss lol we’ll see.
I hear the larger sidewall adds to comfort also so its a win/win!
Good tip on the extended range...
Forgot to mention that I added a Rigd Spare tire carrier for longer trips on the mainland and Fluid Film’d the undercarriage to keep corrosion at bay.
New pads/rotors and hardware were also installed.
I've been quite but not inactive....
Truck is actually awaiting transport to Greece! We needed a summer car there since our 1997 Toyota Starlet 1.3 Primo is getting a little tight for my two sons as they are getting taller. Prado Diesel Land Cruisers are 30K Euro for a truck with 150K KM so I...
We wanted a GL450 years ago but we were expecting our second born and I wanted something I didnt have to worry about post warranty so we bought our 2016 GX460 new and its been a dream to own.
Glad to finally realize this dream and see how the experience goes!
I should start driving the LX...
Update!
GX is getting dropped off at the shipping company tomorrow!
LX is here to stay.

Will document its life either in this thread or will start a new one.
Looking for a heavy duty car cover. My truck will be sitting in storage indoors and i'd like to have it covered.
I have a Victory 4x4 roof rack and ditch lights on my hood.
Anyone make covers that would have extra space for my accessories?
Any help would be appreciated.
alot of good tech in this thread.
Looks like the first step in modding my 2017 LX570 is adding 275/60/20s to my factory 20s and going from there.
So glad that theres space underneath for a full size spare. After going to 33s on our 2016 GX, i've been running with no spare since. Not fun...
Tanks for the info!
I understood about the spare location having plenty of space. Good to know about the LRA tank.
Was debating staying with 20s or going down to 17/18s. Want to ensure that there will be no rubbing in daily use with whatever setup I pursue. 20s would be easier/cheaper but...
any issues with fitting 275/60/20 or 302/55/20 on factory 20" wheels? Any rubbing, etc that would need to be massaged? will I be able to use the EZ exit function of the suspension for when my wife drives truck and move around a parking lot in low until it raises?
