THAT…is a skid plate…it looks like it could provide frame support instead of case protection 😲

Took it grocery getting! Felt good, first real drive in 6 months. Both axles rebuilt, new brakes plumbed and new suspension. Rode nice! Also found a few more items to add to the fix it list.

Started the next project, which was dropping the aux tank. We put it in for the P.O. at my shop approximately 30 years ago, and it hasn't been out since. While the tank stopped the rust in the rear sill from progressing, it probably wasn't a good...

Famous last words. I've worked hard on my brakes and I take more pride in how well I stop than how well I accelerate. Your rig, do as you please. I've done my duty

This is crazy and extremely dangerous. You're risking your life along with the others around you. It's probably best to buy a new master. I've had minimal success rebuilding them. The cylinder walls usually will have deep low spots that can...

It always amazes me how we take our trucks out in the trails, rocks, and places not conducive to longevity of most vehicles..then we drive them on the hi-ways and thru cities like any other car and go back and forth like it’s normal…the people in...

Um, no please. As a general rule, you fix your brakes before you make it drive. You would rather be stuck in your garage wishing you could go than going down the road wishing you could stop.

Did you hone the cylinder when you replaced the innards? Perhaps inspected the bore very carefully? If you did a good job rebuilding that MC and you're still losing fluid from one reservoir to the other then you need a new MC. If you simply put...

I sell those parts. It’s kind of disappointing how readily I am looked to for tech, and how easily I am overlooked as a parts resource.☹️

No, skid plate came with the doubler from Morgan. Heard that it was a Butch built but don't know for sure.

Our local brewery ( they also make ciders and meads ) is about a 2.25 mile drive by the Pig odometer. They had a sorta car show, of course I attended. They let us park on the lawn, which meant that we could walk around with pint glasses in hand...

Dropped my skidplate. It's a lot easier coming down than going up, thing weighs about 100 pounds. I don't need it around town and it looks like I have some parking brake seals work to do. I'll just lean it up out of the way until the next...

Good fix. Now, I have heard that the intake and exhaust manifolds were matched, or "mated", at the factory. And that you cannot expect two different unmatched manifolds to fit together. Also, fitting any headers to anything is going to require...
