    Electric 62 mirrors on a 60?

You can use a piece of rubber - like the drain plug things for the floor - and wedge it up behind one corner of the mirror, it should help with the wiggle-jiggle.

    ROTW- philos1 "Tootsie Roll"

In one of those pictures it looks like he has a lady-friend too. Does life get better than that trio? Nice truck. Cool art project as well.

    ROTW Cabron's Family Truckster

I really like the looks, two tone schemes are just sweet. So clean and neat!

And going to get much, much, bigger. I used to know some people who raised Great Danes, cool dogs. And other cool stuff going on in this thread, will be watching.

Looking for my FJ60 (first post)

That's what happened to me. Buwahaha, yes, very soon now... Anyhow, welcome to the forums and the obsession. :flipoff2:

    1988 Fj62

Price is a little high for me, though with what you've put into it it makes sense. Still, I'm interested. Could we get more pictures by chance?

    Possibly buying an FJ62, a few question/clarifications

Truer than I'd probably like to admit. I've found a couple that I think I need to get by and take a closer look at, price and all that is about right, it's time to go for it. If I get one and it winds up needing work, which it will sooner or later I know, I'll roll up my sleeves and do...

    Possibly buying an FJ62, a few question/clarifications

Hmm, so after reading through all the advice and opinions offered in this thread, and some elsewhere, it really seems that, theoretically at least, I can't go wrong either way. (62 or an 80) Or perhaps another way of looking at it, I could go wrong both ways. Certainly there are things I'm...

    Possibly buying an FJ62, a few question/clarifications

Unfortunately I'm no where near Chicago currently. I actually "live" in northwest Georgia, but I go to school in northern Indiana. Otherwise I'd love to take you up on the offer. Yes, the more I read the more it seems an 80 may be better fitted to my "needs". As I said, I really don't want a...

    Possibly buying an FJ62, a few question/clarifications

Thanks guys, some good advice. I'd actually been looking at the '80's as well. They seem like good vehicles, although I prefer the body style of the '60 series. But I wouldn't let that be the only thing to influence which I get. I have noticed actually, that it seems like it might be easier to...

    Possibly buying an FJ62, a few question/clarifications

First off, I'd like to say what an amazing place this is. Cool people who know whereof they speak, and an awesome repository of knowledge. Secondly, I've been browsing the faqs and reading through some threads, so I hope it doesn't seem like I'm a total idiot. So, on to the real stuff. I've...
