New Tie Rod Ends and Tubes

I replaced the tie rod ends with 555s and new budbuilt tubes and I can't believe the difference it made. I still have to get it aligned, but the difference at all speeds is amazing. The only tricky nut was the pitman arm connection, but a little bit of heat did the trick. I used a $10 pickle...

    Tie rod thread clean

I bought tie rod ends, 555s, and tubes from Bud's to tighten up the steering on the old bruiser cruiser hoping to avoid "old part" grumpy syndrome, but alas, I have been thwarted by one end of the tubes being filled with paint and gunk and whatever... and I can't get my tie rod end started...

eBay 1997 LX450, 57K Miles. Supper Nice. Located: Paterson, NJ

Toyota Owner Magazine Toyota Owner Magazine has a nice write up on a set of double bead locked Hutchinson wheels. Very durable, very heavy and expensive. Really cool.

    Seat Recover 80 series

Have any of you tried to recover / rebuild / repair the "leather" drivers seat on an 80 series? I have mine covered up with an Okole cover, but I am looking at acquiring a 97 and it seems that even the low mileage units have major leather damage. I think OEM repair parts are hard to find and...

    OEM suspension question

If you have left the Michelin's for a different tire, I know I am not the only one to have done that, the spring rate shock valving discussion gets interresting. I can't imagine that the OEM setup is far superior to all others given the diffrent tires and uses we all experience. I love my OME...
