What did you work on tonight?

It was a family car that my wife and I drove (in our late 20's to late 30's with kids and car seats in the back). Your explanation of a 16 year old kids activating the VTEC every time you drove it makes more sense now.

What did you work on tonight?

I want to hear more about this. I owned a '98 Accord EX (4cyl, 5 spd MT) for about 10 years and it was a pretty good car for me. But at 12 years old and 150K miles I had replaced the clutch once (poorly) and it needed another one, it burned about 1 qt of oil every 2K miles and the paint was...

    Events/Trails 10th Annual 100s in the Hills! *Silverton, Colorado July 22 - 27 2020*

Thanks @aaronrules . Being a nerdy Eagle Scout that loves nature and history comes in handy sometimes. Having several guidebooks to look up info is handy too. I'm practicing for my retirement job as a tour guide or National Park interpretive ranger in the mountains somewhere.

I will likely be there around the same time if I can figure out alternate camping or maybe share an AirBnB with a friend, but not @aaronrules because that guy is too cool for me.

Aaron is loads of fun and great to hang out with but I've witnessed some questionable decisions that didn't always turn out well. I'm not sure I would take advice regarding waivers and liability from him.

Camping trip - City of Rocks State Park, near Silver City. April 16 - 18, 2021

I'd rather take my chances with rattlers than thugs in Chicago.

Yikes! I thought I would just have to worry about the prairie rattlers in the E. Mtns. Now I have to pay attention to a different species?

    Air Lift 1000 Install

I've had my airbags in for years with no problems, but I don't go off-roading lots. It's also really important to make the hole in the spring perch big enough to clear the air nipple on the airbag and ensure you've sleeved the air hose with rubber fuel line to keep thing from getting wear damage.

If you're camped right up against the pond that's south of the lodge, you will likely get a few bites. I did a few years back.

If you're camped near stagnant water, there will likely be some but it's not usually that bad, if any.
