If things go right, this next year I should be in a substantially better financial position. Reading these replies, it sounds like holding off and doing the OME may just be the way to do it. I can tolerate the tractor like ride for another 12 months, no problem.

I would love to be able to do that in the future.
In the meantime I am going to put new shocks on the old beast, and figure out what to do with the leaf springs. An OME would be extremely cool, but at the moment it is just not in the cards.

I know this is an old thread but I am having the same issue at the moment.
I have high beams on both sides. When on low beams, the passenger side light goes out.
Not really sure where to even start since I have the mechanical aptitude of a monkey with club. That may be generous....

Good to know and thanks for the part #. Mine was brittle and when I touched the burned dark spot on it, it crumbled. I just ordered a new one.
