The dealers full of $hit. My 97 LX450 antenna fully retracts using the manual down button. I use the up and down button to set the desirable height of the antenna for when I use the radio power buttons. -J

Everyone, thanks for all the help and enouraging stories fom all of ya'll. I called the local Pep Boy and they gave me a pretty reasonable price to install the rotors, parts and labor $360. -J
