Just noticed this past weekend on my 97 LX450 while driving up to Newport RI that there's a small hair line crack on my windshield. The crack is from starts from the inspection sticker to the the registration sticker, the length is about 5 inches long. It doesn't look like a chip or a crack from rocks or pebbles.

Anyone have any ideas on how this might of come about or if this is something that can be repair inteasd of replacing the entired windshield.

Also if I need to replace the windshield, what's the part # and cost to install and replace.

Thanks for all your help in advanced.

Jeez. Just take it to a windshield place.

Just go to your neighborhood car wash, you will be bombarded by onsite windshield rep.
As Junk replied...just replace it!

ditto on the dollar bill comment - generally can be repaired if shorter than a dollar bill. I'd replace it and get on with life.
