I did not do the stage 3. I think the only thing Im missing is the adjustable rear control arms.

Yeah getting it off the spindle was a work out. Took a lot of swinging and pulling to get it off. Also had the help of a floor jack.

Grab a punch and tap it loose! You would need a super thin wall socket to get that to work. Just make sure its tight enough when you get everything re-assembled. Also, if you are using a press and installing new races, Make sure to remove the plastic bushing before pressing. Mine is now...

Just one. The swing out has a gig plastic insert that the race rests on.

Good news! I just got mine back together! I’ll attach a pic of the bearings and part numbers. It was a little bit of a bear to press in the new race, but everything works smoothly and operates wayyy better than it ever has.

This is all that was left. Haha I can measure it and find a bearing, just thought it was worth an ask. Thanks for the replies!

Im super late to the party, but I have these on my 80. Been on for almost 2 years now.

Got it all figured out. I didn’t end up finding exactly what was wrong, but I ran my own circuit from the abs, and CDL light in the back of the instrument cluster, replacing the entire pink and black wire circuit from the abs computer, and basically eliminating the IH1 plug. I just have it all...

Since the write up link is no longer available, do you have any info on making this work with a rear locker on a second gen tacoma? I have everything working perfectly, but can't seem to figure out the rear locker.

Yeah it’s tripping me up. The abs light stays on even with the ABS computer unplugged. Even with the 4wd relay disconnected as well. I’ve been tracing the harness looking for a short to ground for the last few days. I have the FSM and the factory wiring book as well. Tracing all of those...
