I agree it looks like a flanged nut. Not the right one. If it is pulkl the washer out and you should be fine. But you may be better off just getting the right nut.

I had to lengthen the high/low shift rod to accommodate the longer transmission and AA adapter and didn’t have it adjusted correctly so it was in neutral as @cruisermatt and @NeverFinis said. Rookie mistake that cost me some time and effort.

The 50amp fuse needs a shunt to work otherwise the amp gauge will fry. I saw your pm will reply back to you.
