I'm a brake replacement noob, but could the anti-squeal "M"-shaped spring clip act to separate the pads when you let up on the brakes, so they don't ride on the rotors? Just did my front brakes and the PS spring clip was busted and those pads were more worn (by about 1 mm) than the DS pads.

I'd rather have a chirp also. Since the system sends a signal to the lights, couldn't a chirper be added to receive the signal as well?

Destination A/T's These are P275/60r20's. My previous set were LT265/70r17 on FJC rims on a '99 4Runner. They did not look as wide as some tires of the same size due to their smoother edge blocking. Other than that, they are easy to keep balanced and overall great tires.

There are widely varying perspectives on this topic, my loud-tire-experience is anothers dream-tire. I have had BFG AT KO's and Nitto Terra Grapplers and thought them both to be really loud on the road. Michelin's have been very nice on the road. My favorite is still the Firestone Destination...
