Expect large cash layouts at the pump. My Tundra V-8 gets 16 around town and 18 highway. The engine kicks ass. However it is not a landcruiser....and to properly cruise the land, you must consume copius amounts of fossil fuel. It's best not to talk about it.

45.6 MPG. Whoops that's the TDI jetta. 14 to 15 tops on a stock FJ-80. Many long trips on the highway hoping and praying it would get better. Nope. On the plus side in the city you'll see 13-14 mpg.
