I have been thinking of building up a system in the LC but haven't pulled the trigger yet. My last "cool" system got stolen out of my BMW at the shop. They snagged the Eclipse "anti-theft" head unit. Some crackhead is really up to date on head units. They snagged a couple of amps and an...
REVO's are awesome. Currently running 3 sets on a 94 cruiser, 96 lifted cherokee and a 03 tundra stock. Quiet and snow and wet perfomance are outstanding. I am currently running Cooper S/Ts on cherokee because it is winter....actually the REVOs are better in the snow. BFG's are made by...
Expect large cash layouts at the pump. My Tundra V-8 gets 16 around town and 18 highway. The engine kicks ass. However it is not a landcruiser....and to properly cruise the land, you must consume copius amounts of fossil fuel. It's best not to talk about it.

I don't think anyone could make a definitive statement about oilfilters unless they ran identical trucks with brand A versus brand B. Even then unless on a large scale test of thousands of vehicles with high mileage could you begin to notice a trend of failure in certain components. I just...
45.6 MPG. Whoops that's the TDI jetta. 14 to 15 tops on a stock FJ-80. Many long trips on the highway hoping and praying it would get better. Nope. On the plus side in the city you'll see 13-14 mpg.
I'm the newest of the new here, but I just got back from the tire shop with 285 Revo's on my 94 cruiser. They seem to work pretty well and are quiet on the highway. I have them on my Tundra and Cherokee as well. I don't know if you have Cooper tires in your area, but the cooper S/Ts come in a...
