First time 80 owner. I own a 40 and have owned a 55 and 100. The 80 I picked up is a 1995. While inspecting the engine bay i noticed the pipe that appears to be coming from the firewall is not connected to anything. What is this and what should it be connected to? Thank you

Thank you for the reply. I cannot tell any appreciable difference in idle since the switch. Have had a small backfire at tailpipe, thought this upgrade might solve that, it hasn't. I purchased a flame thrower 2 coil to go with the igniter, should they have wired it through the ballast?

Has a local shop install a pert ronin ignitor in my 1974 distributor, had a little backfire at the tail pipe. As I was adjusting the timing noticed this wire hanging free. Can someone tell me where it goes. Many thanks

How much damage, if any, have I done to my front end. Had to lock the hubs the other morning and didn't unlock one side. I drove approximately 25 miles, speeds up to 55 mph. Loud thumping noise is what caught my attention. Unlocked the hub and all rode well. Thanks, Lee
