Yeah all the girls loved the kayaking around the lakes. Was a bit cold for swimming but we all made the dip in the water so we could say we did. The river was a bit cold wading around fishing but well worth it for the views.

If the axle has never been serviced, or if it has been serviced according to the manual, there will be a puck screwed into the end of the birfield (or a snapring) that you can only access by removing the head of the hub.
Thought I could post how @kelly saad just repaired one of my door hinge mounts given the conversation in the short rib thread. This is on the door side of the hinge but I would think the repair would be similar on the body side.

I am about to experiment with a rubber gasket I found for the infamous tailgate roll up window problem. Mine separated 3rd to the last day of travel from PP.
The sample on the left is almost the exact dimensions as the original on the right...

While I have my odometer out, I figured I’d upgrade the dash lighting.
The grease hardening in the odometer tumblers damaged one of the drive gears. A new unit probably the way to go, if available. Will start the hunt.

Came across the fire volcano log. Would have grabbed it for next year but it was 3 1/3 ft in diameter. Didn’t think dragging it home the last 2000 mile was a good idea.
