Now that's progress! Nice work.
Which gear is that where the bushing is worn out? Guessing an output gear. If it is one of the output gears, my parts lookup tool says they're nla.
Well smoothly it went..... Till I found that :
I need that bushing ASAP .... If you know where I can get it 😞 So im stuck there ....
Well a little further ... But it's 1am here and I didn't took pictures of how it sits at the moment .🥺
Went real smoothly in the end !
The front coûter shaft bearing is a barell roller and there is a washer in the back of it . Lucky I noticed it stayed there before It was all together. Removed it and kept going.putting that bearing cover...
Reassembly is pretty much the same in the opposite order ahah , gave the casing à good pressure washer/water sandblast cleanup and paint.
Replaced input shaft bearing , and reinstalled the reverse gear .
Loved the concept of the woodruff...
Ok be ready that's a big update :)
Dismantling was pretty straightforward... Took half the day.
All the bolts had a SPA day in the tumbler . No polished finish but they came out clean enough .
Shafts were straight and unpitted ( thank...
Should fit close to here. Trouble is navigating the exhaust pipe/muffler and getting the swingarm fore/aft right.
Going to have to move some brake lines and fuel lines around the pipe too

Stack two up, one size that fits the inside diameter, one the outside. The seal will stay on the tool and you'll have an easy time driving it in.
Bonus, you have a tool set that can be used for more than one purpose.
Well nothing worked pulling it out ....
Had to remove the pusher plate to get it out... And I need another clutch disk...
But it's out
Didn't clean the input shaft enough so it was hella stuck ......
Famous finger .....
And the damaged...
I tried that for like an hour yesterday , but it was hard to get it to back off evenly ... might be why It's still there
like I said I will try with a bender applying force to it while prying and maybe have a buddy on the other side with...
Long bolts will force the pilot bearing through the clutch, it'll destroy it. But I don't think you can get the clutch hub through the pressure plate fingers even if you did get pressing bolts.
I'd try to just slam the trans back and forth to...
I have a 37" spare mounted on a swing-out that blocks a good bit of the tailgate. It almost blocks the tail light as it is now. The tailgate is actually one of the only body panels, other than the hood, that are original and undented. 😋
Thread revival.
Going to attempt to install these manifolds (and corresponding carb) on my late 2F head:
Here’s the rub: from what I’ve been able to gather these manifold sets came on the 90-92(?) FJ75 Troopies. I have seen one in a truck with...
Before I get to talking about this little project, keep in mind that, as most of you know, I am an Accountant by trade. My ability/desire to "make things pretty" aren't my strongest attributes. A discerning look at my truck should make that...
That dude with the skid steer is such a bum! Lol sorry I couldn’t make it, I got stuck in Michigan longer than expected and didn’t get back till Saturday night. Also the skidsteer has been on rent for a month now instead of a week due to all the...
Should be proper beef, 1/4 wall 2x4 box tubing cut to a truss. Have minitruck knuckle gussets that appear to fit well with a little grinding. And some generic 8" diff armor that'll work perfect.
Gonna be a beefy little axle when I'm done...
2,600 miles to ouray and back. 13-16.6 mpg depending on whichever way the wind blew.
Zero issues. Kept pace just fine.
I really like the 2F in this truck. 361,000 miles on the original bottom end.
Still needs the 12HT but I want to move into...
