Little things today. Trimmed rear wheel wells again to make sure they do not rub in the rear. Added seam sealer to front fenders and added a heat shield for shock.

Not what I want to be doing less than a week before the trip, but nothing I want to do on the side of the road or a parking lot. I found the water pump leaking on my Duramax.
Fixed the RPM sensor that was faulty ... Wires were bent to break so I sandblasted the epoxy resin and soldered new wires to the sensor.
A new one cost over 200$ ... Mine was already not working so I figured out I would give a chance to my DIY...
Hit AOAA last weekend for 3 days with Keystone/COVA/Cap LC clubs, annual summer trip. 40 did great with new tires/wheels and hydro assist. Few little things to mess with before next trip, but overall I’m vey happy with how it’s behaving.

Yep! It is a light coat. These fenders have been jacked up since I got them. I am trying to keep my 10 foot status as I will be rattle canning the paint anyways :)

Look like they used antisieze which will help but those are great joints…. Just known to rust quick without a protective coat. Will help preserve ease of future...
