Attached is a photo of the our 1982 we got from the original owner and our 1978 bought new in Greenville, Texas. Loved the '78 sripes.

OP here... My mechanic just finished upgrading my A/C system to R134A. Changed oil in the compressor, new fittings, R134a and checked everything out. Cost was $243.43. Stupid time of year to worry about the A/C even here in Arizona!

Does look like a nice truck. I do see the rust bubbles around the rear reflectors. If it's there you can almost guarantee there is more waiting to appear. You will never win that battle. Nice to see OEM mats but don't like the undercoating in the back. Suspect the same under the front mat. Nice...

Sounds about right to me. Our '78 bought new had the washer on the hood.

The only body panel that has been replaced on our1982 is the hood. The original owner told me he replaced the hood when it was repainted in 1997. The replacement has the washer in the center of the hood and Ms. Scarlet has the working factory washer located above the windshield. So, the...

Got to agree. Anything that has to do with English carbs is not worth dealing with. Been there done that with a couple English cars.
